Phil grew up on a family farm near Hurley, SD. Music has always been an important part of his life, including high school music activities and singing in church choirs and small groups. He is thankful for his wife, Sharon, who enjoys playing the piano, which is one reason he sings today. Phil enjoys gospel music because of its message of hope and truth. He is excited about this opportunity to minister through music and the great fellowship it brings.

     Phil works in the feed industry for Cenex Harvest States. Phil and Sharon live in Sioux Falls and have three grown children and eight grandchildren. They spend most
